Running a yacht in Thai waters is not the same as running one in Europe or Australia. The combination of high humidity, intense sun, warm water temperatures and long seasons without a proper haul-out creates maintenance challenges that are invisible until they become expensive. We have seen — and fixed — all of them.

We maintain our own charter fleet daily. That discipline forces a standard of documentation, scheduling and quality control that most one-off repair shops simply don't have. When we tell you a job is done, it has been checked by someone who will be putting paying clients aboard that same boat the next morning.

We know the supply chain. Getting the right part to Koh Chang is half the battle. Over fifteen years of operation we have built relationships with Bangkok importers, Phuket chandleries and international freight forwarders. OEM parts for Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno and most major chandlery brands can be sourced and delivered to our base — often faster than you could arrange it yourself from a major marina.

We keep records. Every job completed on every boat in our fleet is logged with date, materials used and technician. We apply the same discipline to owner-managed vessels on request, so your next insurance survey or resale goes smoothly.

Mechanical & Engine Work

We service, repair and troubleshoot inboard diesel engines, saildrive and shaft-drive systems, generators, watermakers and onboard electrical systems. Our mechanics are experienced with the brands most commonly fitted to European charter yachts — Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Beta Marine, Fischer Panda — as well as Thai-market engines.

Tropical operation puts specific stresses on cooling systems, impellers, heat exchangers and raw-water filters. We service these on a schedule, not on a breakdown. If you are leaving your vessel in our care between seasons, this is built into our lay-up protocol.

  • Mechanical work 1 hour 990 THB

  • Works with complex equipment (engine, transmission, generator, desalination, etc.) 1 hour 1500 THB

Hull & Deck Care

Regular washing of the deck, cockpit and topsides is not cosmetic — salt crystallisation is one of the most persistent causes of fitting corrosion and gelcoat degradation in tropical conditions. Our team uses correct dilution ratios and pH-neutral products that are safe for painted surfaces, teak and anodised aluminium. Stain removal at the waterline, cut-and-polish and full wax treatments are carried out by staff who work on fibreglass every day, not occasionally.

We handle fibreglass repair from surface cosmetics through to structural lamination. Osmotic blistering, impact damage from flotsam and delamination around deck fittings are common issues in the Gulf of Thailand — we diagnose and repair all of them.

  • Washing of the deck, cockpit topsides (minimum 4 hours monohul,  6 hours catamaran) 1 hour 690 THB

  • Cleaning of the interior (min 4 hours monohull 6 hours catamaran) 1 hour 650 THB

  • Cut, Wax and Polishing 1 sq.m. 490 THB

  • Stain removal waterline 39 THB / boat ft

  • Works with fiberglass 1 hour 900 THB

Rigging and Sails

Mast work is carried out by technicians who are comfortable aloft and trained to inspect standing rigging for the failure points that matter in this climate: swage terminals, toggle pins, sheave wear and spreader boot integrity.

Sails are removed, washed, dried, inspected and stored in our warehouse. Technical inspection includes checking batten pockets, luff tapes, UV covers and stitching — the components most affected by constant deployment in tropical conditions.

  • Work on the mast 1 hour 1500 THB

Electrical & Electronics

From simple 12V fault-finding to full NMEA 2000 network installation, AIS integration, chartplotter upgrades and autopilot commissioning — our electronics technician works across the major brands and understands the interference and power-management issues specific to live-aboard and charter use.

  • Electrical and Electronics works 1 hour 900 THB

Underwater Services

Our dive team performs propeller and anode changes, hull cleaning, rope-cutter installation and inspection work without the cost and delay of a slipway. Keeping a clean hull and fresh anodes in the warm waters around Koh Chang is not optional — fouling builds fast and zinc corrosion is aggressive. A dive inspection every four to six weeks in season is standard practice for any vessel stored afloat here.

  • Bottom cleaning 99 THB €/ boat ft , catamaran double

  • Diving works prop and anode changes etc) 1 hour 3000 THB

Canvas, Upholstery & Covers

Biminis, spray dodgers, cockpit cushions and sail covers deteriorate fast in the Thai sun. We work with local craftspeople to produce replacement canvas and upholstery that is both UV-resistant and professionally finished. Custom work is quoted on inspection.

Sea Tow & Emergency Assistance

We operate sea tow and emergency call-out services throughout the Koh Chang archipelago — covering Koh Chang, Koh Wai, Koh Mak, Koh Kood and the islands in between. If you are aground, disabled or need urgent technical assistance, call us directly. Our response is faster than any mainland service and our knowledge of local anchorages, tides and hazards is unmatched.

Out-call technical services and towing are billed by nautical mile within the archipelago, with transparent rates. We do not charge a premium for out-of-hours calls when the situation is genuine

  • Outcall technical services within Koh Chang Archipelago 500 THB/ nautical mile + work hours

  • SeaTow services within Koh Chang Archipelago 600 THB /nautical mile
